Welcome to the "Falling Leaves from Fallen Trees" Range

Falling Leaves from Fallen Trees was an idea formed some years ago when Terry discovered the large amounts of fallen trees from the local wood which had come down in storms and were left for firewood. The quality of this wood encouraged Terry to begin designing unique pieces and specialising in wooden bowls and boards.

Terry comes from a background of working in the famous Hicks Cabinet Makers where he learned his trade and became their top carver.

Terry takes great pride in his work and all pieces are finished to the highest standards. All boards and bowls are sourced from Irish native woods including beech, oak and ash. They are then hand carved and finished with an oil which makes them heat resistant and water proof, suitable for use in the kitchen. They are both functional and decorative and every piece is individually unique. Custom pieces can also be commissioned.

Terry also provides weekend classes for beginners and intermediate levels for those wishing to develop wood carving skills and is presently taking bookings for 28th and 29th March and also 18th & 19th April 2015. These are very enjoyable weekends both instructive and sociable and held in Terry's workshop on the banks of the Boyne. If you are interested you may contact him by phone or email as below.

To mark the occasion of the visit of An Taoiseach, Deputy Enda Kenny, to lead the National Famine Commemoration Ceremony, the Drogheda Borough Council commissioned Terry to produce a unique carving which was presented to An Taoiseach on the 13th May 2012. See link below.
